Youthful love, romantic, fun, and entertainment movies keep coming in Telugu. But youthful emotional stories fall short of them. Because it is not so easy to impress the audience by mixing extra touches for a commercial touch in a movie that has emotional content. In recent times, however, some directors have been experimenting with such stories. Some movies like Jersey, Majili, Ninnukori came and impressed the audience. Rang De is one such film.
Arjun and Anu grow up to be neighbors since childhood. But Arjun feels irritated every time he sees Anu. But Anu totally likes Arjun. The film is about how the situation finally changed.
This is the main difference between Rang De and previous films. If the line wants to be a star to end annoyance on a girl, then trying to cultivate this fun and emotion from the same line is a Rang De movie special. Director Venky Atuluri has done a great job with this feat. The first half of the movie is nothing short of amazing. These days when comedy shows are popular on TV, it is not so easy to create fun in movies to suit them. That's why the first half of the movie does not give much kick. But don’t be bored. The Brahmaji episode before the interval gives a bit of josh. Interval Bang seems to have ended the first half satisfactorily.
The excitement starts as you enter the second half. 'Moonlight Kishore' Entree added some fun. From there to the end, the director portrayed the predictable narration as interesting. The last half hour of the movie was completely gripping and ending with emotional content. The director did not indulge in heavy dialogues and did not fail to bring the depth into words. Not to forget the light touch of fun using Moonlight Kishore in the middle. But the question is how much of that fun fits the film as a whole.
'Rang De' movie has a lot of plus points. The key is the colorful editorialization of the film. Cost Cinematographer PC Shriram's work is visible in every frame. Except for the first song in the movie, the rest of the songs are situational. Devisriprasad seems to have done the songs well. At the same time, he also earns marks in the case of BGM. In fact, the lowest marks in the technical team are for the dialogues written by the director. In fact, a movie like this should have even stronger dialogues. Also, director Venky is not a fun genre type. Still tried a lot. But that is not enough.
Nithiin and Kirti Suresh both competed and acted in the film. Kirti Suresh's face looked too small and tangled, perhaps due to too much dieting. But the performance did not diminish at all. Brahmaji kept the film for a while and Vennela Kishore for a long time. Suhas, gomatam Just OK.
