Story:
In the movie Karthikeya 2, Nikhil works as a doctor by profession. As he pursues his career as a doctor, he searches for answers to some intractable questions. Karthikeya looks for the mystery behind the events in Dwaraka, just like what happened in Subrahmanyapuram in the first half. His search for the truth brings out many things related to some ancient beliefs and the power of Lord Krishna in Dwarka. But whether Nikhil as Karthikeya discovers those secrets, in the end, is the rest of the story.
Actors Performance:
On the acting front, Nikhil.. once again impresses the audience with his performance as Karthikeya, who is always looking for answers to unanswered questions. Anupama Parameswaran is decent in her role. Anupam Kher has done well, but the dubbing voice actor doesn't feel set for him. Aditya Menon impresses in the negative role. And Srinivasa Reddy definitely laughs with his timing in some scenes. All the other actors have done their part as required by the story.
Technical Performance:
The visuals in Karthikeya 2 are amazing. Kala Bhairava's music as the music director is good. But, the background score of the movie is not that impressive. Karthik Ghattamaneni impresses with the visuals. Chandu Mondeti showed his form as a director with this movie.
The film has some breathtaking visuals, especially the scenes shot in Kashmir. Editing is also crisp. Chandoo Mondeti, who did not impress with his previous film Savyasachi, seems to have regained his form as a director. If we look at the final.. Karthikeya 2 sequel.. we have to say that the visuals in it will attract the audience to the theatres.
Analysis:
Karthikeya 2 movie will bring a fresh experience to the audience. The entire first half was interesting and the interval bang was also interesting. This raised a lot of curiosity about the second half. The mystery is a plus point in this movie. Every scene is fantasy-like and captivating to the audience. The same twist runs till the climax in the second half.
Director Chandoo has given the climax finishing touch to the movie. The film maintains the same thrill till the climax. The ending of the film is good with a clear explanation. There are some flaws but they do not seem much in the background of the interesting plot of the film. All in all, this film can be said to be one of Nikhila's hit films.
